Mortise Lock
Most households in South Africa use the mortise locks for all their external doors. These locks are installed inside the door and has a combination of a latch, for the handle, and a dead bolt to lock the door.
Without a key to open the door a push action will be needed to force the swing door open, that will in turn place pressure on the springs inside the mortise lock Armed Strike Plate. That will in turn activate the alarm system.
The mortise Armed Strike Plate has also an improved fitment strength by enlarging the plate size and up to 5 fixing points with longer fitment screws.
The Armed Stripe Plate for the mortise locks will have a left and right hand opening option available.
